Concrete – Code of Practice.
Implemented in CYPECAD and Metal 3D (as of the 2011.d
version)
Includes materials, steel bar diameters and load combinations of the code with
the design criteria of the ACI 318M-08 (USA) code. The design criteria of the IS 456:
2000 code will be included in upcoming updates of the 2011 version.

für Normung. Stahlbauten.
Code implemented in CYPECAD and Metal 3D for the following
sections (as of the 2011.c version):
- C and stiffened C
- L and stiffened L
- Rectangular hollow section
- Circular hollow section
- Code regarding loads on structures. Wind loading
- IS:875: (Part 3) – 1987 (Reaffirmed 1997) (India)
Code of Practice for Design Loads (other that earthquake) for Buildings
and Structures. Part 3 – Wind loads.
Implemented in CYPECAD and the Portal frame generator (as of the 2011.a version)
- Eurocode 1(National application document for Belgium) - prNBN EN 1991-1-4 ANB (2009).
Code implemented in CYPECAD (as of the 2011.c version).
Implemented in the Portal Frame Generator as of the 2010.a version.
- Ordinance nº 3, 21st July 2004 (Bulgaria).
Basic principles for structural design and their applied actions. Section VI: Wind loads.
Code implemented in CYPECAD (as of the 2011.c version).
Implemented in the Portal Frame Generator as of the 2010.m version
- R.N.V.99 D.T.R. C
2-4.7 (Algeria)
Code implemented in CYPECAD (as of the 2011.c version).
Implemented in the Portal Frame Generator as of the 2010.b version.
- ASCE/SEI 7-05 (USA
International): Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures.
Code implemented in CYPECAD (as of the 2011.d version).
Implemented in the Portal frame generator as of the 2010.m version.
- Code
regarding loads on structures. Snow loading
- IS:875: (Part 4) – 1987 (Reaffirmed 1997) (India)
Code of Practice for Design Loads
(other that earthquake) for Buildings and Structures. Part 4 – Snow loads.
Implemented in the Portal frame generator (as of the 2011.a version)
- Code regarding loads on structures. Earthquake loading
- CPE INEN 5:2001 (Ecuador)
Construction code of Ecuador
General Design Requirements: Seismic danger, Design Spectrum and
Minimum Calculation Requirements for Seismic-Resistant Design.
Implemented in CYPECAD and Metal 3D (as of the 2011.a version)
- CFE 2008 (Mexico): Manual de diseño de Obras Civiles. Diseño por sismo.
Comisión Federal de Electricidad. México 2008.
Code implemented in CYPECAD and Metal 3D (as of the 2011.c version).
- NSR-10 (Colombia): Reglamento Colombiano de Construcción Sismo Resistente
Code implemented in CYPECAD and Metal 3D (as of the 2011.d version)
- The NSR-10 code substitute the outdated NSR-98 code. Nonetheless, any of the two codes can
be used in CYPECAD and Metal 3D.
Improvements in code application
The following improvements in code application have been implemented in the 2011 version
of CYPE programs:
- Rolled and welded steel code
- Eurocode 3
The corrections undertaken by the CEN (European Committee for Standardization)
have been implemented in the following documents (as of the 2011.a
version)
- EN
1993-1-1:2005/AC:2009

- EN 1993-1-5:2006/AC:2009
- EN 1993-1-8:2005/AC:2009
These implementations affect the use of Eurocode 3 for
any of the countries that may be selected with this code (International,
Bulgaria, France and Portugal).
The following National documents of Eurocode
3 for France have been implemented:
